- Tunduma Town Council is located in Momba District and was established with GN number 378 where it officially started on July 1, 2015, with 420 square kilometers. The council has 1 constituency (Tunduma District), 1 Division, 15 Wards and 71 Streets.
- The Council has a size of 41194 hectares with the following analysis;
- Area for agriculture - 32341 Ha. (78.5%)
- Forest reserve - 3918 Ha. (9.5%)
- Area for housing and other activities - 4684 Ha. (11.4%)
- Wetland - 251 Ha. (0.6%
