Job Summary

Short-Term Agreement

• The top integrated energy firm in Tanzania, PanAfrican Energy Tanzania (PAET), which develops and provides natural gas for the nation's power, industry, and transportation sectors, is seeking a well intervention supervisor / engineer.
• Since 2001, PAET, a fully owned subsidiary of Orca Energy Group Inc., has been operating the Songo Songo natural gas field in Tanzania. Tanzania's natural gas resources will be developed and utilized effectively by PanAfrican Energy. In order to help Tanzania's energy shortages and to collaborate on the development of the nation's energy resources, PAET is dedicated to collaborating with important parties.
• With an emphasis on Coiled Tubing (CT) Operations, PanAfrican Energy is presently looking to hire a Well Intervention Supervisor / Engineer on a short-term contract to supervise well interventions in the Songo Songo gas field.

RELEVANT ACTIVITIES

• The successful applicant will report to the operations manager of the company and perform the following duties:
• Develop and carry out a one-well CT program.
• inspect and give the go-ahead for the CT program's equipment.
• Plan and coordinate your operations, and make sure that all of your equipment is securely set up, tested, and prepared for usage.
• Assist the well site workers with technical advice.
• Create and present thorough daily progress updates.
• managing the wellsite's supply and equipment inventories and storage.
• Make sure the task is done in accordance with the company's policies regarding health and safety.
• Throughout the project's execution, represent the business.
• Give a thorough final operation report.

Key competencies and experience

• An acknowledged authority in coiled tubing operations, with a focus on through-tubing interventions for well cleanout, including sand control and gas lifting into production.
• An advantage would be having knowledge of coiled tubing fishing and drilling operations.
• the capacity to manage contractors and oversee on-site activities to deliver operations at a reasonable cost.
• To accomplish the goals of the work program, choose equipment and service providers with experience.
• To provide guidance on important operational choices during workovers, manage interfaces with the production department and the operator management team.
• contractor equipment is examined to ensure it is suitable for purpose and prepared for usage on the job site.
• For wireline and coiled tubing activities, well control is qualified.
• Engineering-trained with the capacity to create workover AFEs and work programmes.
• 10+ years of experience specifically engineering and managing coiled tubing operations
