Job Summary
- Minimum required education, experience, and qualifications are as follows:
- MUST possess a clinical medicine or nursing diploma.
- A benefit is having a bachelor's degree or higher in nursing or medical.
Skills:
- excellent knowledge of Tanzanian government health policies.
- strong M&E capabilities and strategic information experience.
- Good oral and written Swahili and English communication skills, as well as excellent training abilities for dealing with adult learners, especially at the community level.
- capable of working flexibly and willing to do so as needed without continual or tight supervision
- Show leadership and team-building abilities.
- Skills in diplomacy and negotiation that show an aptitude for cooperation and coordination with a variety of parties and complex priorities.
Experience:
- two (2) or more years of experience working in a field position for a public health or OVC programs agency. Experience implementing community health initiatives for HIV, MNCH, TB, malaria, etc.
- experienced with Tanzanian projects supported by PEPFAR 3.0.
- a history of putting program and donor standards, processes, and practices into practice.
- knowledge of the Appreciative Inquiry (AI) methodology in social work and development.
