Description

• Someone with excellent communication and bargaining abilities is needed. As a procurement officer, you must have strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities as well as management expertise to complete the pertinent paperwork and administrative procedures.

Those responsibilities include;

• overseeing and controlling all buying department activities and personnel.
• drafting plans for the acquisition of supplies, services, and equipment.
• adhering to and upholding the company's procurement guidelines.
• reviewing, contrasting, evaluating, and approving the goods and services that will be bought.
• maintaining correct procurement and pricing records and inventory management.
• maintaining and updating data about suppliers, such as their credentials, delivery schedules, product offerings, etc.
• keeping up the negotiation of contracts.
• examining and investigating potential suppliers.
• creating cost analysis, reports, and budgets.
