GEITA GOLD MINING LTD.

• Tanzania's top gold producer, Geita Gold Mining Ltd (GGML), has just one operation in the Geita Region. The business is a division of AngloGold Ashanti, a global producer of gold with activities in more than 10 nations across four continents and its headquarters in South Africa. The mine is located in Northwestern Tanzania's Lake Victoria Gold Fields, just 20 kilometers southeast of the nearest Lake Victoria point and 85 kilometers from Mwanza City.

Position: Warehouse Clerk 1

Type of Contract & Duration: time-specific agreement

Organization: Supply Chain

Re Reporting to: Senior Warehouse Supervisor

Two positions total (02)

OBJECTIVE OF THE ROLE:

• to oversee and take charge of all daily safety, receiving, transferring, storing, keeping records, issuing, and housekeeping tasks as needed. maintaining the forklift to ensure safe and efficient operation. the ability to move large materials with machinery. Employ safe and efficient equipment operation for warehouse activities. Make sure that the equipment is regularly tested and kept in a good, secure functioning condition. moving big objects as needed to help with normal warehouse duties, stock management, and recordkeeping.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• at the very least passing the Certificate of Secondary Education Exam (CSEE).
• any acknowledged certificate in material management.

EXPERIENCE:

• a minimum of two years of working experience in large-scale warehouses or mining warehouses.
• driving experience with warehouse equipment
• Driving proficiency with a class C or E Tanzanian driving license will be advantageous.
