Job Summary

Position: Sales Officer

Working Station: Dar es salaam

Company: ELM Enterprises co ltd

• The sales Officer will be responsible for sales of Insurance and Loans of the Company

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• To receive and process applications for insurance covers and loans requests.
• Ensure the policy requirements are fulfilled including the compliation of appropriate forms
• Assist customers in properly completing insurance applications in order to act as an insurance intermediary between the company and insurance company.
• Inspect property and take pictures in order to examine its overall condition and decide its insurance risk.
• To attend different training accordingly as it will be directed by insurance principle companies, TRA and other industry stakeholders
• Advice and train customers according to the insurance products that will satisfy his/her need.
• To make follow up on matured insurance covers so as to renew it.
• To underwrite the insurance policy purchased by a client.
• Research and analyze potential markets,advertise loan products, and develop referral networks to locate prospects for loans.
• Review loan agreements to make sure that they are completely accurate according to policy and compute payments schedules. Review as well as update credit loan files
• Any other duties will be assigned by the supervisor

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of Degree in any Business studies
• Minimum qualifications in insurance is must
• Computer literate
• Expirience in sales will be an added advantage
