- globalbike is seeking a Mechanic Trainer and Quality Control Specialist to lead globalbike’s mechanic and quality control program. This position is based in Moshi.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing and evaluating a comprehensive mechanic training program
- Monitoring progress and quality control standards among all mechanics
- Evaluating, identifying, and communicating quality control issues
- Collaborating with suppliers and staff
Requirements:
- Able to develop professional and trusting relationships with rural women entrepreneurs
- Demonstrated expertise in bike mechanics and training of bike mechanics
- Rigorous attention to detail and high performance standards
- Fluency in Kiswahili and English
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience training women in bike mechanics
- Experience working in rural areas
The Mechanic Trainer and Quality Control Specialist will work under the supervision of globalbike’s executive director. This is a short-term contract with potential for long-term employment upon performance review. To apply: email CV and three references to jobs@globalbike.org by December 16.
