- ICAP at Columbia University, a global health leader situated within the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health in New York City, seeks highly qualified candidates to serve Health Information System and Software Programmer (1 position) to be based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
- The Health Information System and Software Programmer (HISSP) is responsible for developing and maintaining ICAP’s health information systems. Under the supervision of the IT Manager and dotted line to the SI Director, S/he will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, testing, auditing, and improving the existing HIS systems and project software. In addition, the HISSP will lead the ICAP HIS unit to bring interoperability between existing HIS, EMR, lab, and other vertical program areas to support data integration and robust data review for M&E activities. The HISSP also will ensure the developed systems conform to standards through system testing, debugging, and technical documentation through reference manuals
