Chief Finance Officer
The Bank is looking for an experienced Chief Finance Officer (CFO) to join its senior management team. Reporting to the Managing Director, the CFO will be responsible for development and implementation of the bank’s financial strategic plan that will maximize income, while minimizing risks in order to achieve the strategic objectives of the bank.
Academic/professional and experience requirement
- University degree in finance, business, commerce, accounting or related fields.
- Accounting certification i.e. CPA/ACCA/CIMA/CFA/ICMA.
- Cash management, financial accounting and corporate finance competence.
- Minimum of 12 years’ experience, with 5 years in a management role in a financial institution.
- Preferably financial and treasury management experience in Tanzania with exposure to international financial management systems.
Managing Director
- The Bank is looking for an experienced Managing Director (MD) to join its senior management team. Reporting to the Board Chair, the MD will be responsible for the overall success of the bank, overseeing all the bank’s operations, human resources and ventures.
Academic/professional and experience requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related fields. Masters’ degree will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 15 experience, out of which 5 must be in a senior management position.
- Deep knowledge of the financial market and banking industry.
- Understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles.
- An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational and leadership skills.
- In-depth knowledge of corporate governance and general management best practices.
- Familiarity with banking functions as well as diverse business roles such as marketing, public relations, finance etc.
- Preferably banking and treasury management experience in Tanzania with exposure to international banking practices.
