Deloitte Bursary South Africa 2023/2024
Deloitte provides bursaries for students pursuing a Chartered Accountancy certificate certified by the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA). The bursary covers tuition costs, textbooks, and in some cases housing. After completing their education, bursary recipients are required to undergo a three-year traineeship program with Deloitte.
To be eligible for the Deloitte bursary,
- candidates must be a citizen of South Africa or Namibia, have completed or be enrolled in high school, have achieved well in Math in high school,
- be pursuing or plan to pursue an undergraduate or graduate degree in chartered accounting at a SAICA-accredited university.
- Before applying, candidates must meet the minimal admission requirements listed below (please note that if you do not meet all of the requirements, your application will not be considered):
- You must be a citizen of Namibia or South Africa.
- You must be enrolled in or have already completed high school.
- You must have achieved well in Matric Math (not Mathematical Literacy)
- You must be pursuing or plan to pursue an undergraduate or graduate degree in chartered accounting.
- You must be enrolled in or plan to enroll in a SAICA-accredited university.
Applications can be submitted online at http://www.joindeloitte.co.za. Along with the application, candidates may need to submit a Matric certificate or latest academic record, ID document, and a letter of encouragement. The bursary application process is open all year long with no specific closing date.
