Kilombero Sugar Company Limited, in partnership with Illovo Distillers Tanzania Limited, is looking for a Factory Optimization Manager. This person must be dedicated, hardworking, and honest. The successful candidate will work in Kilombero, Morogoro and report to the Manufacturing Head.
Responsibilities:
- Make plans to improve production and maintenance
- Work to reduce waste and make things run more efficiently
- Help with technical problems related to production and maintenance
- Teach and guide the technical team
- Follow Illovo’s policies on safety, competition, and ethics
Requirements:
- A degree in Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering
- 8-10 years of experience in sugar manufacturing
- Knowledge of how to make improvements
- Good understanding of business and manufacturing
- Good leadership and management skills
- Strong data analysis skills

Speedling Production Manager Wanted
Location: Kilombero, Morogoro
Boss: Estate Agriculture Head
The Speedling Production Manager will be in charge of leading the Speedling nursery production team and making sure everything runs smoothly. You'll be responsible for making sure the team meets targets and produces high-quality Speedlings at a low cost. Your duties will include:
- Making decisions to improve Speedling production
- Implementing best practices and processes
- Achieving annual Speedling production targets
- Helping plan production and setting goals
- Managing the budget and resources
- Leading and managing the team
- Tracking performance and ensuring compliance with company policies
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, Horticulture, or similar
- At least 7 years of experience in agriculture/horticulture operations
- At least 5 years of managing a large-scale horticulture nursery
- Experience with research and laboratory work (tissue culture preferred)
- Knowledge of project planning, logistics, and nursery programs
- Ability to lead and manage teams
- Ability to analyze agricultural data
- Strong attention to detail and self-motivation
- Good computer skills
