We’re looking to hire FOR:
Hatchery Manager – 1 Position (Siha, Kilimanjaro)
Reports to: General Manager
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for achieving budgeted number of saleable day-old chicks as per budget.
Manages Hatchery costs to optimise cost of production as per annual budget.
Responsible for leading, managing; developing a high performing Hatchery team aligned with Company HR Policy, Values and Behaviours
Responsible for all maintenance, upkeep, security and general appearance of the Hatchery’s infrastructure, assets, equipment, and stocks
Implements Company corporate risk controls and ensures compliance with legal and company requirements.
Ensures Hatchery team complies with company QA, SHE, GHPs (Good Hygiene Practice), GMPs (Good
Management Practice) and all other company SOPs & deadlines.
Key Qualifications:
BSc /Animal Science/ Animal Health/ Animal Production related
Minimum 3 years in Animal health and Production
Computer literate
Strong communication skills
Proficient in English (both written and spoken)
Excellent interpersonal skills
Sound knowledge of Petersime Setter and Hatchers
