- The Agency for Rural Water Supply and Sanitation
- In accordance with the Water Supply and Sanitation Act No. 5 of 2019, the Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency (RUWASA) was established to coordinate all initiatives related to the delivery of sustainable rural water supply and sanitation services in rural areas of Tanzania's mainland in order to support sustainable socioeconomic development. Planning, developing, maintaining, and managing the provision of dependable water supply and sanitation services is the Agency's responsibility.
Driver Grade II - 67 Posts 2.0.1 (ONE YEAR CONTRACT)
DUTY AND RESPONSIBILITIES 2.0.2
i. To operate automobiles and motorcycles as assigned;
ii. Ensuring the condition of motor vehicles, motor cycles, and their accessories;
iii. To follow up on cars or motorbikes that are being repaired and make sure that all necessary spares are installed and that outdated spares are brought back to stocks for inspection;
iv. To keep a machine or a vehicle clean,
v. To safeguard the vehicle's and motorcyclists' safety
maintaining logbooks for all journeys and routes taken, and recording the
vii. To report any flaws or issues found in the machinery or vehicles as soon as possible; viii. To carry out any additional responsibilities assigned by the supervisor in this area.
2.0.3 COMPETENCE AND EXPERIENCE
- possessing a secondary education certificate, a driving license class C or E in good standing, having completed a basic driving course, and having at least one year of accident-free driving experience It is advantageous to have a Trade Test Grade II or Level II in motor vehicle maintenance or mechanics.

- Scale of Payment: RSS 2
OVERALL CIRCUMSTANCES
Unless otherwise noted, all applicants must be Tanzanian citizens who are under 45 years of age.

viii. A candidate who works with the government shall submit his application letter through his employer;
ix. Applicants who have left the public service for any reason should not submit applications;
x. A candidate should list three credible referees along with their contacts;
xi. The National Examination Council of Tanzania should verify certificates from foreign examination bodies for education levels Ordinary or Advanced (NECTA).
xii. The Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU) and National Council for Technical Education (NACTE) should verify professional diplomas from foreign universities and other training institutions;
