ASSISTANT II IN SALES AND MARKETING (CARGO) (5 POSTS)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR ENTRY

• possess a certificate in one of the following areas: ground handling, air cargo, or an equivalent degree from a reputable university.
• Possession of an IATA or UFTAA certificate will be advantageous.
• It will be advantageous to have a diploma in IATA or UFTAA, marketing, air transport management, business administration with a marketing concentration, air Ticketing, air Cargo, Dangerous Goods, and ground handling.
• must be familiar with computers

THE DUTY AND THE RESPONSIBILITY

• At the starting point, handle general freight and mail bags from the Post Office.
• Verification that the import and export documentation adhere to standards is done through the handling of arriving and leaving cargo.
• cargo is put together based on where it is going.
• Verify arriving mail and goods against the manifest for the cargo.
• Prepare arrival advices in accordance with the cargo manifest for all received goods.
• Accept shipments from shippers and get all shipments from agents ready for transport.
• To ensure that each unit load device is examined both before and after build up and that a ULD that is not airworthy or not safe for an aircraft is not loaded onto an aircraft.
• managing and aiding in the loading of freight
• letting clients know the status of their shipments.
• notifies shippers of any delays in the shipment's departure.
• utilizing the authorized freight market rate, weighs the products and calculates the cost.
• Carry out any other formal tasks that your manager may designate.
• Five (5) year contract with competitive pay and perks in accordance with ATCL's salary structure and incentive program.
