PRINCIPLERESPONSIBILITIES:

• Define and convey the bank's proposed security control inadequacies.
• By defining, creating, putting into practice, and maintaining the necessary policies, processes, standards, and guidelines, you can implement information security governance.
• Assume responsibility for the security of all systems and applications that the bank has created and acquired.
• By evaluating the implementation of security designs, doing application code reviews, and conducting security assessments to close security vulnerabilities, you may guarantee the security of all applications you implement.
• To guarantee that established systems continue to adhere to security standards, conduct routine security assessments and reviews.
• Make sure that all servers, workstations, virtual environments, databases, middleware, and applications have the best possible security configurations. Then, keep those configurations up to date.
• In order to support ongoing system security advancements, do research and offer recommendations on solutions, services, protocols, standards, and best practices.
• Keep a record of the hardware, software, and security systems the bank uses.
• Support the bank's efforts to discover and address security incidents and violations through ongoing security monitoring of all systems.
• Create and keep up-to-date documentation on system security, including designs and architectures for systems and applications.
• Implement security upgrades by monitoring the effectiveness of the measures in place, identifying security concerns, and foreseeing requirements.
• enforce the IS0 27001 guidelines and standards, and make sure a secure-by-design mindset is upheld.
• Assure proper management and enforcement of sensitive data management.
• Implement consistent security principles and review and monitor security across all systems (including penetration testing).
• Perform post-implementation reviews and risk assessments for all change requests.

REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE

• An education in computer science, information systems, or a related discipline is preferred.
• three years' minimum experience working in a cybersecurity operation
• The chosen applicant must have technical training and information security experience.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND COMPETENCIES

• basic knowledge of the banking industry and its systems
• Other IT professional certificates like ITIL, CISA, and PMP will be an added bonus. Preferred security professional certifications are IS027001, CSSP, CISM, and CEH.
• Excellent knowledge of IT controls and service standards, including [TlL_, OBIT, ISO 27000, etc.
