AIM OF THE JOB

• Defend systems and information assets (company and customer data) against all internal and external risks by organizing, planning, and leading the lnfoSec and Controls Assurance team.

Primary responsibilities include

• Review and put into practice the bank's security monitoring and incident response plan.
• Drive initiatives for incident response and cybersecurity monitoring inside the bank to enhance security monitoring capabilities.
• Establish proactive real-time monitoring, identification of security incidents, and alerting of pertinent events.
• By combining and creating numerous security tools, implement automatic reaction to cybersecurity problems.
• directing, in conjunction with the bank's fraud management team, the investigation of security breaches, including fraud instances, that have been reported.
• Create and deliver actionable dashboards that give the bank a clear view of security attacks.
• provide "ownership" of security for applications and middleware
• By identifying, developing, implementing, and maintaining the necessary security policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines, you can implement security governance.
• Perform analysis, evaluation, and suggestion on technologies, services, standards, protocols, and associated best practices for security monitoring and incident response.
• Document architectures, designs, and governance for security monitoring, and keep them up to date.
• Inform business and technology executives of major cybersecurity issues.
• oversee security assessment efforts, including as penetration tests and vulnerability assessments, both internally and externally.
• Assist Exim Subsidiaries (Exim Djibouti, Comoros, and Uganda) in adhering to group standards and best practices for technology while taking local regulatory requirements into account.
• Management of vulnerabilities across the Exim group (coordination of VAPT and ongoing weaknesses that could lead to closure)

REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE

• a minimum of a bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related subject.
• preferred professional certificates in security, such as CEH, CSM, (ISA, (SSP, or other pertinent certifications.
• 5 or more years of relevant experience working in the field of cybersecurity.
• strong practical knowledge of business security systems, including security monitoring tools like SIEM and SOAR.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND COMPETENCIES

• understanding of widely used information security management standards and frameworks, including ISO/IEC 27001, NIST CSF, and PCI
• strong practical knowledge of business security systems, including security monitoring tools like SIEM and SOAR.
