Professional attributes and credentials

•  bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, information technology, or a related field.
• 3 years of expertise in IT technical operations and/or support.
• An advantage is having knowledge of IT projects and the implementation of IT infrastructures using different technologies.
• A plus is having excellent working knowledge of phone systems, security, network and systems administration, databases, and data storage.
• knowledge in computer science, programming, and digital security.
• knowledgeable about Microsoft's server.
• Knowledge of CRM Navision and Microsoft Dynamics are advantage
• a thorough understanding of network architecture and client/server technology.
• Effective communication involves speaking, writing, and active listening.
• strong ability to solve problems, think critically, and make decisions.
• Interpersonal and customer service abilities.
• Professional certifications would be beneficial.

Rules and Regulations

• The following terms and conditions shall apply to the Senior IT Officer position at the MS TCDC training center in Usa River, Arusha:
• The post is being provided in accordance with MS TCDC's employment terms, with a fixed term contract of three (3) years and the potential for extension based on MS TCDC's future programmatic needs.
• a base wage under the MS TCDC's scheme of service, which is based on education and experience when appropriate
• a dynamic workplace with highly dedicated and competent personnel.
