JOB DESCRIPTION:
- The Policy and Process Analyst's responsibility is to ensure that management develops and implements proper policies, procedures, and processes that will improve the operational excellence, productivity, and efficiency of the bank while maintaining adequate controls. should make sure that all policies are current and that all procedures and processes are well-researched, well-designed, well-documented, and efficient.
- shall oversee the Policy Review process, maintain and record all policies and procedures, and coordinate a plan for policy modification in response to material changes in the activities and business environment of the bank or when those activities and business conditions do not comply with the network policy framework and regulatory requirements.
COMPETENCIES
- A person must exhibit the following skills in order to execute the job well
- a thorough knowledge of the lifecycle of business process management.
- a thorough knowledge of risk management procedures used in the financial services industry, ideally in microfinance.
- interpersonal abilities to communicate with the different stakeholders in an efficient manner.
- high level of ability with computer programs, including spreadsheets, diagramming and presentation tools.
- proactive in seeking out process-based pain spots with a creative eye.
- Ability to read and interpret written information in any given standard. Ability to write clearly and informatively. Ability to edit works for spelling and grammar.
Experience and credentials
- a Bachelor's degree in banking, economics, accounting, business, credit, or finance from a reputable institution of higher learning, or an equivalent degree;
- A certification in the areas of Business Process Management (BPM) competency is a bonus.
- Belts in Six Sigma and other process improvement initiatives certification or membership is a bonus.
