Summary:
- The Collection and Recovery Intern is in charge of ensuring that all defaulted debts from group loan clients that are older than 90 days are followed and that the necessary recovery measures are performed.
The following are the fundamental duties:
- Track and report on agreements struck with clients who have fallen behind on their payments or who have been written off for unpaid debts.
- Report on the daily repayment of both regular and written-off loans from the clients of the group.
- Give late payers suggestions to assist them negotiate a reduction in any amounts owed.
- Contact with late payers/debtors who are more than 90 days past due and written off clients from group clients via telephone and in-person visits.
- Investigation and distribution of missing and unidentified money.
- provide the branch manager or branch supervisor with daily, weekly, and monthly recovery reports, and
- customer debts that groups have written off.
- Give late payers suggestions to assist them negotiate a reduction in any amounts owed.
- Contact with late payers/debtors who are more than 90 days past due and written off clients from group clients via telephone and in-person visits.
- Investigation and distribution of missing and unidentified money.
- On demand, provide the branch manager, branch supervisor, and head of collections and recovery with daily, weekly, and monthly recovery reports.
- Maintain integrity at all times to manage FINCA's corporate image.
- Make sure to keep client information and company information private.
- The supervisor may delegate additional tasks.
Experience and/or education:
- degree or diploma in any relevant field of study
- knowledge of legal procedures as they relate to debt recovery
- Must be able to work with little guidance
