m/f sous-chef of pastries

Requirements:

  • 5 years of pastry experience in "fine-dining,"
  • understanding of food safety and hygiene laws (example: HACCP)
  • Planning for production, staffing, and maximizing orders;
  • Leadership abilities, effective organizational and communication capabilities
  • written and vocal English fluency;

responsibilities and obligations:

  • Managing the kitchen's pastry department while coordinating with the executive and sous chefs
  • preparing ingredients, using baking supplies, and other culinary tools.
  • using a predetermined recipe to make pastries, baked products, and confections.
  • Decorating cakes and pastries to provide a lovely and aesthetically pleasing presentation.
  • Meeting with clients to talk about and prepare specialized sweets and pastries
  • keeping an eye on the supply of baking supplies.
  • placing orders for necessary supplies, materials, and equipment for the pastry division
  • ensuring compliance with safety and health laws in all cooking areas.

  • Hot Kitchen Sous Chef (m/f)

Requirements:

  • 5 years of "Fine-dining" Hot Kitchen experience,
  • Preferably, an apprenticeship or certification program from a culinary school,
  • Other certifications, such as appreciated (diet chef, industrial chef
  • understanding of food safety and hygiene laws (example: HACCP)
  • Planning for production, staffing, and maximizing orders;
  • Leadership abilities, effective organizational and communication capabilities
  • written and vocal English fluency;

responsibilities and obligations:

  • running the hot kitchen division and communicating with the executive and sous chefs
  • preparing food, using hot kitchen equipment, and other kitchen tasks.
  • Preferably, an apprenticeship or certification program from a culinary school,
  • Extra certifications, such as appreciated (diet chef, industrial chef
  • using a predetermined recipe to prepare hot kitchen dishes.
