- SOS Children's Villages Tanzania is a regional non-governmental organization associated with SOS Children's Villages International, a global organization that cares for and protects children by giving them a permanent home and access to education. SOS Children's Villages International, the umbrella organization, was founded 60 years ago and today operates Children's Villages and other programs in 135 nations worldwide. It manages the SOS Children's Village Program globally, which is divided into two primary components: Family Based Care, which takes place at SOS Children's Villages, and Family Strengthening Programs, which assist families in their local communities. Since 1991, SOS has operated in the United Republic of Tanzania.

OBJECTIVE OF THE ROLE
- The three-year project dubbed "Facilitating Reintegration" is coordinated overall by the National Reintegration Coordinator.
- Ensure the quality and efficacy of projects to promote "Responsible Reintegration of Children and Young People" at the national level.
- The position holder will be in charge of making sure the project is carried out in order to achieve the desired results.
- He or she will support the creation of work plans for project implementation, budget implementation, and ongoing reporting.
- Lead the process of developing local data management systems and reintegration procedures. Coordinate the technical capacity building of program staff supporting the reintegration in the field.
- Make sure that paper-based information is organized and documented in an up-to-date manner.
- Utilize the database to check that procedures are followed in specific circumstances and to make sure that roles and responsibilities are upheld.
- oversees the work of the national project team, which includes members of the government, the CSO, and the appropriate employees, to ensure that the project is carried out as planned.
- Providing thematic knowledge on family building, child empowerment, and child safety in the context of reintegration.
- Make sure that livelihoods, other youth and family empowerment initiatives, and child protection initiatives with a reintegration focus are carried out in coordination with the appropriate partners.
- serve as the SOS Children's Villages' point of contact for initiatives including reintegration projects with SOS Children's Villages in Tanzania.
- Make sure that the methods used for reintegrating children and young people are in line with national and organizational laws, regulations, and policies.
- Make that the project is carried out in compliance with the partnership agreement, the donor proposal, and the project plan.
- Send the regional project lead progress updates and suggestions for the annual donor reports.
- notifies the Head of Programs and pertinent National Office departments frequently on the progress and activities of projects.
- Organize formal and informal meetings for information sharing and decision-making with the Head of Programs and other department heads of the National Office.
- Ask the Head of Programs for advice/support on a frequent basis.
- Participate in national forums addressing child vulnerability concerns that affect SOS target group beneficiaries and spread awareness of SOS's work across diverse organizations and communities.
- cultivate productive working connections with national and local program managers
- Represent the project and SOS Children's Villages Tanzania at gatherings, conferences, and venues for thematic cooperation both internally and outside.
Qualifications and experiences in academia:
- A college degree, preferably a master's in community development, social work, or child welfare.
- Experience working on programs for at least five years with a national or international NGO.
- Experience that can be proven in case management, family reunification, child locating, and reintegration.
- Participate in national forums addressing child vulnerability concerns that affect SOS target group beneficiaries and spread awareness of SOS's work across diverse organizations and communities.

- Experience that can be proven in case management, family reunification, child locating, and reintegration.
- Experience-based understanding of the relationships between children and young people, reintegration, and alternative care for children, as well as the ability to shape programming in a way that ensures the needs of reintegrated children are met while keeping program objectives in mind.
- understanding of the relevant national legal and policy frameworks, the UNGA, the UNCRC, and the ACRWC
- good analytical, strategic, and problem-solving abilities
- ability to make good plans, set and achieve goals for oneself
- the capacity to operate under duress and meet deadlines.
- willingness to travel frequently and work in conditions that offer just the most basic comforts.
