Experience and credentials needed
- a fundamental degree, or an equivalent, in project management, statistics, the social sciences, or information technology
- a minimum of three (3) years' experience designing and putting into practice methods for monitoring, evaluating, and conducting research;
- a minimum of three years of experience in monitoring and evaluating training while serving in a management or supervisory capacity;
- working with MIS/SAVIX for YSLA online data management and experience working on YSLA projects
- the capacity to work alone with little guidance
- Traveling within the supported districts and having the ability to do so
- Computer literacy, including knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, the Internet, and statistical programs like SPSS, STATA, Epi Info, among others.
Essential Knowledge
- extensive M&E understanding and ideally at least three years of experience working for a nonprofit organization
Skills
- talents in analysis and problem-solving
- strong audience-appropriate communication abilities
- proficiency with computers and use of accounting software that is appropriate
- a capacity for transdisciplinary and multicultural work
- good oral and written English language skills
