Position Description

• The role's goal is to effectively maintain underwriting standards and provide top-notch client and broker service in order to deliver quality underwriting outcomes for the Commercial/Personal lines underwriting function. Must be multi-skilled, able to train junior underwriters, and possess a high level of technical understanding.
• complies with standards, norms, and procedures when underwriting
• Ensures that every paperwork is issued, reviewed, and authorized before it is sent.
• Ensures queries are resolved in line with company requirements
• assures prompt and precise management of the mail count
• requests, oversees, and fulfills survey obligations in accordance with established protocols
• reverts ineffective policies
• By ensuring that tactical policies, procedures, and standards are followed, a specific functional process is maintained in terms of service, quality, and expected outputs.
• Customer complaints and questions that have been escalated are resolved, and customers are given feedback on the situations.
• Shares knowledge on, and participate in, the design of new standards, control systems and processes to maintain service delivery.

Education

• Insurance Bachelor's Degree (B) (Required)
