Foundation for FutureSense (FSF)
- Small international development nonprofit FutureSense Foundation (FSF) focuses primarily on rural areas.
- A small nonprofit organization called FutureSense Foundation (FSF) works primarily in rural areas to empower underprivileged and marginalized communities around the world and help them create a better future. Currently, we have permanent hubs and run programs in six different countries where we assist neighborhood partner schools, neighborhoods, and health institutions using a grassroots approach to community development. Our activity is in line with the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations and is centered on promoting long-term and sustainable community development through its three main program areas, including education, health, and livelihoods.
- We provide chances for individuals and groups to volunteer, work alongside our hub teams, and contribute to our in-country development work through our long-term programs in Education, Health, and Livelihoods. The majority of our volunteers are university and college students from the UK and Australia who are 16 years old or older and who come to FutureSense Foundation through our sister organization, Challenges Abroad. Challenges Abroad collaborates with students and educational partners to provide service learning opportunities for students to grow as global citizens and future leaders.
- In our hub in Arusha, Tanzania, we are now searching for a full-time (40 hours per week), enthusiastic, and driven leader to join our team as the Operations Manager.
- We need a supervisor with project and team management expertise, great knowledge of customer service and group process management, and excellent intercultural communication skills to oversee all program creation, delivery, and volunteer activities in our Cambodia hub. It would be ideal to have previous managerial experience implementing community development, youth work, and/or environmental protection initiatives with an organization dedicated to international development.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF A ROLE
- Plan and manage all aspects of the hub's development, monitoring, and assessment strategically.
- Through research, needs analyses, and partner evaluations, pinpoint development areas and possibilities.
- Maintain minimal criteria for program delivery to guarantee sustainable program delivery, moral behavior, maximum impact, and adherence to the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
- Maintain the partner engagement approach to create productive working connections with regional partners and communities to make sure that community needs are satisfied and our program outputs are successful.
- ensuring the in-country team, volunteers, and partners have the proper training, mentoring, and support to enable the delivery of a high-quality program.
Operations
- In order to increase our supporter base, strategically monitor the design and execution of project logistics to guarantee the delivery of high-quality programs and a favorable participant experience.
- All hub operational and project budgets should be created, managed, and reported on.
- Manage and encourage your varied local team well to meet operational goals.
- Assure the team's, project's, and beneficiaries' safety and security in accordance with our safeguarding policies.
- By sharing our work, adhering to our organizational standards, and supporting our principles, represent FutureSense Foundation locally and internationally.

Qualifications & Experience Necessary
- English with ease (written and spoken)
- a master's degree or at least five years of experience in a professional capacity
- working with kids or volunteers from other countries
- knowledge of working with or living overseas with individuals from other cultures
- knowledge of inspiring and motivating teams (of employees or volunteers)
- experience with simultaneously managing numerous projects
- basic familiarity and comprehension with budget forecasting and reporting
- a fundamental understanding of risk management and safety

- First Aid qualification and certificate
- knowledge of conducting educational seminars for adults, children, and/or youngsters
- Please be aware that a three-month probationary period is required for all new management positions.
