SUMMARY:

  • We are looking for an ORDER DESK CLERK to join our team that has excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic.
  • Our order clerks are the initial point of contact for clients and are on the front lines of fulfilling our promises to them. You will interact with consumers directly to fulfill their needs, respond to their inquiries, offer help, and prepare orders. We are looking for an individual who is persuasive, vivacious, and willing to go above and beyond to satisfy customers. someone who can work against targets and is goal-oriented.
  • long-term professional goals (min 5 years).

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Obtain daily customer orders via phone and email, enter orders into a database, and communicate expected delivery dates to customers.
  • Verify each order's client information against the company database upon receipt to ensure that all contact information is accurate; update the database as needed.
  • For the purpose of processing orders, note down customer information such as name, address, TIN number, and VRN number.
  • Before preparing an invoice, make sure all the items you bought are in stock and are priced fairly, and that the order information on each order is accurate when it is received.
  • When an order is received, if there are any issues about the customer's information or any discrepancies between the customer's information on the order and the corporate database, contact the customer personally.
  • When an order is received, if there are any problems, such as product pricing discrepancies, shipment delays, or other worries like an out-of-stock or discontinued item, we will get in touch with the customer personally and offer an alternate item or items.
  • Prepare invoices and the appropriate shipping documentation to process orders.
  • Respond to customer care calls and help with inquiries from and complaints from customers regarding unfulfilled purchases every day.

SKILLS REQUIRED

  • strong communicator both orally and in writing (fluent in English language).
  • knowledgeable with the rules and procedures for providing quality customer service.
  • organized, with strong clerical abilities and a keen eye for detail.
  • Effective at weighing the merits and drawbacks of various arguments using logic and reasoning
  • Options and additional approaches to challenges.
  • the capacity to respond to consumer issues in a considerate and professional manner.
