responsibilities and obligations
This assignment's main goal is to assist in the creation of a thorough framework for monitoring and evaluating WPS in Tanzania and costing it in accordance with national frameworks and goals.
The task specifically seeks to:
- Gain about, evaluate, and create knowledge about successful TNAP 1325 budget plans and M&E Frameworks from other nations. Take note of the lessons you may learn from these.
- to evaluate and produce knowledge-based information on public spending and potential alignment with TNAP 1325.
- Facilitate an orientation/training for the TNAP 1325 M&E and Costing drafting teams, as well as the Women, Peace and Security National Taskforce, on developing SMART outcomes based on the TNAP 1325 with an integrated M&E framework and budget plans.
- Create the necessary quantitative and qualitative tools and templates, along with guidelines for data quality assurance and validation, to be utilized by the parties in charge of implementing TNAP 1325. These tools and templates will be used to construct the M&E Framework and Costing Matrix.
- Make sure that realistic baselines, goals, and ways of verification are set. According to the AU Continental Monitoring Framework for WPS, indicators must be in line with those frameworks.
- Assist in the creation of a result-based logical framework by the M&E and Costing drafting teams. This framework will include precise indicators, targets, a baseline, responsible institutions, and an anticipated budget for the TNAP 1325's planned activities.
- Participate in and offer technical assistance at the TNAP 1325 M&E Framework and Costing validation meeting.
