"PHC" Primary Health Care Project
- In Tanzania's new "Primary Health Care Project," the project manager plays a crucial role in providing technical leadership and control for execution. Through mobile clinics and outreach programs, along with interventions to improve facility-based quality of care to ensure a high standard of care, this project will assist the local health authorities in providing healthcare in a culturally appropriate manner to the difficult-to-reach population in Malinyi district.
- To ensure that the project is implemented successfully, the project manager will collaborate closely with the local communities, the teams at the healthcare facilities, the Council, and the Regional Health Management teams.
Your obligations and duties
- Support local health authorities and oversee the project's execution, including the Mobile Health Clinic's launch and activity planning
- Work together with relevant parties to monitor projects, gather data, and communicate project progress, such as the Council Health Management Team and the Ministry of Health.
- Ensure accurate activity monitoring, data gathering, and analysis. Participate in any accessible publication options and results dissemination
- Create recurring work plans and reports in accordance with agreed-upon benchmarks and donor requirements.

- We are seeking a highly driven individual with the following credentials to best integrate into our active, interdisciplinary team
- has at least five years of project management experience, including personnel and financial management, public health specialist or medical doctor
- Work experience in rural public health
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and negotiating skills to support policy discussions with government agencies
- dependable computer abilities, and ideally data analysis
- a coworker with strong interpersonal abilities
- imaginative, versatile, and self-taught
- Interest in scientific interchange, implementation research, and knowledge sharing (experience in research would be an asset)
- Willingness to travel for networking and representation within the district and throughout the nation
