Position Description
PLANNING
- uses the affiliate marketing approach
- Develops affiliate marketing strategies for General Trade based on the GT in the box master plan and key account agreements in order to achieve the best volumes, margins, and collections.
- reports on the customer prospection activity and keeps track of it
- Develops the reseller business (PRISM), which is cash-based, uses its own transportation for collection, or only accepts credit when a bank guarantee is strictly provided.
- every 10 days, evaluates the level of orders executed for each key account customer in comparison to the anticipated monthly targets.
- engages with consumers to determine the reason for variations
ORGANIZING
- Before-sale assistance (Transmission of pricing to clients, monthly price advice, and quotations to clients)
- takes immediate action to address concerns with shortlanded products and incorrect pricing on the invoice
- gathers bid documents and establishes bid specifications (bid security)
- participates in the creation of contracts and bids. For any new business, a contract must be in place.
- Updates all current contracts, and takes part in negotiations during the contract renewal process.
- daily market price analyses of the reseller market
- produces a profitability analysis Ex Ante establishes credit restrictions for each client. a client with many accounts who should be taken into account overall.
- routine examination of Commercial Term forms (credit ceiling, credit days)
- co-ordinates client account reconciliations (in liason with credit controller, Customer service)
- prepares the Equipment Movement Form for the installation and removal of equipment. Review of equipment availability and demand to fit GT Client portfolio. Equipment consists of transfer and dispensing pumps, as well as stationary and mobile tanks.
COORDINATING
- After-sale assistance (helping tax-exempt customers with paperwork, managing card sales at ex-stations,
- collaborates with the Customer Service and Credit Control units to arrange and monitor client collections.
- Attends quarterly business reviews with important account clients to discuss any issues, complaints, or dissatisfaction.
- Implement new initiatives such as Excellium, Fuel Management System, and Consignment Management
- Using GT Toolbox actively as advised by the GT Africa division
- Engage in quality control and suitable product handling training for GT Client team.
CONTROL
- attends internal credit control meetings and reviews limitations every three months.
- Daily Margin and Aged Balance Report Checking and Client Reminders for Payments
- Follows up on the approval of contracts for clients who haven't signed them yet or who need a review.
- keeps customer and other business paperwork in order in an appropriate filing system.
- performs risk assessments on clients on the important account list and reports at least 12 near misses annually.
- active involvement in the variable compensation plan (performance measured on volumes, margins, collections realized and prospects converted)
- participate in SALSA actively, submitting at least 20 reports each month. daily entry into SALSA and accurate registration of visits made to clients already in the system as well as to prospects and opportunities. created.
