Direct Aid Society (DAS) is Non-government Organization officially registered in Tanzania in 1992.

The organization focuses on social services such as education, welfare and health services.
On the side of health services DAS seeks to recruit in its new hospital (Direct Aid Hospital) an individual who is passionate as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to provide strategic direction and leadership so as to achieve a mission, vision and values a per established policies and guidelines of DAS.

Position Description

According to established laws and regulations, the CEO is accountable for providing strategic direction and leadership for achieving the hospital's mission, vision, and values. The CEO is responsible for managing all aspects of hospital operations, including clinical and support. There will be more than 400 people working there.

responsibilities and obligations

to supervise the creation of a clear hospital vision and mission and to organize, assess, and track implementation;
In addition to coordinating their implementation, the incumbent will supervise the design and review of the functional policies, strategic plans, programs, systems, and procedures of the hospital;
assistance with resource mobilization, operational sustainability, and the preparation and implementation of the Iospital strategic plan;
directing and coordinating all departments' and units' operations;
Coordinate, assess, and keep track of the hospital's performance to ensure that scheduled tasks are carried out on schedule and within the allocated hospital budget;
Manage and oversee all hospital resources, both financial and nonfinancial, in compliance with the highest standards and a feeling of responsibility;
Maintaining positive working relationships at the hospital and coordinating with pertinent Ministries, groups, and people on issues that concern the hospital;
Make sure the services are delivered with high standards, in a way that exceeds client expectations, and that daily excite and delights our clients.

Educational background and Experience with Relevant Subjects

Master's degree in medicine or equivalent credentials in a discipline connected to medicine. The applicant needs to be registered with the appropriate professional board. Those who hold a PhD or a Super Specialization Certificate will benefit more.
Must have at least twelve (12) years of work experience, with at least three (3) of those years spent in management positions in large hospitals or integrated healthcare systems.

International experience is preferred, especially in developing nations (but not essential)
a leader in Department I who is driven by strategic thinking. Managers and employees

Possibility of organizing and carrying out a mandate in accordance with the hospital's strategic vision, mission, and values.
demonstrated financial savvy and the capacity to balance revenues and costs.
