Introduction
- The grassroots, non-profit Barefoot College International builds routes to more resilient, self-sufficient, and sustainable rural communities while appreciating and respecting the knowledge and wisdom they already hold. Through Public-Private-People collaborations for decentralized, community-owned solutions in the fields of renewable energy, water, livelihoods, education, communication, health, and advocacy, it seeks to make a significant impact at a large scale. It helps rural communities become self-sufficient in a sustainable way.
- 2015 saw the opening of Zanzibar as the first Regional Vocational Training Center for East Africa by Barefoot College International (BCI). Providing instruction on solar energy, generating income, and other topics specifically for women, Kinyasini-Kibokwa is situated near BCI invests in rural women through the Enriche initiative so that they can be agents of long-lasting change. It offers students the chance to go out on a voyage of empowerment, a trip to acquire the self-assurance, expertise, and information they require to realize their full potential and realize their aspirations. Financial Literacy, Micro-Enterprise Skills, Health & Wellness, Aspirations and Agency, Sustainable Living, Livelihood Skills, Rights and Responsibilities, and Digital Skills are among the modules covered in the Enriche program.

- The Enriche Facilitator will be in charge of working with partner organizations to co-design, develop, deliver, and evaluate the impact of the Enriche curriculum.
LANGUAGES:
English and Kiswahili proficiency in both oral and written forms is required; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.
- Microsoft Office proficiency is required, and basic design knowledge is advantageous.

EDUCATION:
A diploma in education, community development, social science, or a closely related field of study is the very minimum need for candidates.
Implementing the Enriche curriculum requires the following major responsibilities: - Develop curriculum material for non-college-educated rural women on the 8 Enriche areas and adjust it to regional specifics
- Determine the priorities and requirements of each group, then choose appropriate themes and activities.
- Plan and coordinate semester’s’ activities in coordination with other sections in the center
- Collect materials for the workshop's implementation.
- Execute baseline studies
- Conduct workshops in English, Kiswahili, and in situations where there is no common language.
- Assist in the creation of audio-visual teaching materials and digital teaching aids.
- Communication with various Barefoot College divisions
- Form alliances with other NGOs and CBOs
COMMUNITY IMPLEMENTATION: - Coordinate with other NGOs / CBOs the field implementation of Enriche-related activities; - Train local NGOs / CBOs on their duties around the Enriche curriculum
Reporting and documentation:
- Gather information for correct reporting.
- Detailed report writing and documentation for the workshops
- Track development and evaluate learning results
