2.0 Job Description

OFF MAX LOGISTICS LLC is seeking a qualified Logistics Coordinator aged 18 to 30 to join our team. The company is working to solve every transportation challenge our client may have before they have it. We strive to provide fast, safe, and cost-efficient transportation, no matter the freight. Our expert team at Offmax Logistics can handle the most challenging and complex supply chain issues. We handle each and every detail throughout the logistics process, ensuring each client can keep their focus on their business.

3.0 Job Summary

We are currently looking for a vibrant, competent, and dynamic Logistics Coordinator to support our Dispatch department. He/ she will be engaged to administer and assist all dispatch requirements, handle customer functions and general company needs to ensure OFF MAX LOGISTICS LLC fulfil its goals and objectives.

4.0 Responsibilities

As a Logistic Coordinator you are responsible but not limited to;
Receive emergency and non-emergency calls and record significant information
Address problems and requests by transmitting information or providing solutions
Receive and dispatch orders for products or deliveries
Prioritize calls according to urgency and importance
Use radio, phone or computer to send crews, vehicles or other field units to appropriate locations
Monitor the routes and status of field units to coordinate and prioritize their schedule
Provide field units with information about orders, traffic, obstacles and requirements
Enter data in computer system and maintain logs and records of calls and other activities
Perform such other duties as a customarily performed by an employee in a similar position and such other unrelated services and duties as may be assigned to the employee from time to time by the employer.

Great interpersonal and negotiation skills
Excellent communication skills. (Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently).
Strong attention to detail.
Great organization and problem-solving skills
Excellent computer knowledge (Microsoft word, excel and Internet)
Smart and goal oriented individual able to work under minimal supervision
Open minded, flexible and a great learner.
Ability to work under pressure.

6.0 Required Skills and Experience

Education

Experience

At least 1 year of experience in logistics, sales, or any other similar working job environment.
