Job Description
- Expert Consultancy is recruiting for our Client in Kisemvule Mkuranga a HSE Supervisor on a permanent Contract.

Location: Mkuranga
Salary: Tshs 2,000,000-3,000,000 Gross Salary
Responsibilities
- vPlanning safe working practices and making necessary changes;
- vKeeping up to date and ensuring compliance with current health and safety legislation;
- vEnsuring that equipment is installed correctly/safely;
- vWriting internal health and safety policies/strategies;
- vDrawing-up safe operational procedures;
- vMaking regular site inspections;
- vCompiling statistics;
- vMaking recommendations following accidents/incidents;
- vKeeping up to date with developments within the profession;
- vMaking presentations to groups of employees/managers;
- vProviding health and safety training courses for employees and managers;
- vInvestigating/recording incidents, accidents, complaints and cases of ill health;
- vWriting reports, bulletins, and newsletters;
- vUndertaking risk assessments;
- vIdentifying potential hazards;
- vDetermining ways of reducing risks;
- vLiaising with relevant authorities;
- vOrganizing/attending health and safety meetings;
- vSafely handling hazardous substances.
Qualifications
Education
- vA bachelor’s degree in a health, safety, or environmental field of study;
- vHSE Qualification ( Certificate from any authorized certification board)
Experience
- v4 years’ experience in health and safety.
Skills & Competencies
- vGood analytical skills and the ability to think critically;
- vGood public speaking skills;
- vIn depth knowledge of legislation (e.g. OSHA/EPA) and procedures;
- vProficient in all Microsoft Applications;
- vExcellent written and verbal communication skills;
- vGood organization skills;
- vLeadership skills.
- vManufacturing operation skills
