We are hiring for the above position on behalf of our client in Mkuranga industrial area

Industry: Manufacturing

Location: Mkuranga Pwani Region

Salary: Tshs 1,000,000-1,300,000 Gross Salary

Position Summary

• Performs a range of operations on a variety of machines such as milling, drilling, bench lathe, surface grinder, saws, mills, etcher, tube deburring, presses, mechanical joint assembly, and a wide variety of hand held tools. Checks work using various measuring instruments; adjusts equipment, replaces tooling as needed, maintains quality standards.

Essential Functions

Include, but are not limited to, the following:

v Reads prints or job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.

v Sets stops or guides to specified length as indicated by scale, rule, or template.

v Positions workpiece against stops or aligns layout marks with die or blade.

v Pushes button or depresses pedal to activate machine.

v Observes machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunction.

v Measures workpiece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation.

v Removes burrs, sharp edges, rust, or scale from workpiece.

v Performs minor machine maintenance such as oiling machines, dies, or workpieces.

v Set up machine, and count, stack, mark, pack, and transport finished workpieces.

v Etch metal as required.

v Clean metal via immersion or spraying with appropriate solution.

v All other duties as assigned

v Bachelor Degree of Science In Mechanical Engineering

v Above 4 Years in steel manufacturing sector
