Job Tittle: Sales Officer
Job Summary: Coordinates sales activities and oversee execution of agreed strategies to meet customer needs, enhance brand equity and ultimately increase revenue generation for DCP in the assigned region within the country.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee the execution of sales strategies to meet assigned revenue and target metric objectives within the assigned region.
- Participate in goal-setting activities for the region and agree goals with Area Manager and the Head of Sales & Marketing.
- Develop work plans for the region with clear approach for adoption by the Area Manager.
- Proactively identify and make recommendations to the Head of Sales & Marketing on potential revenue streams and customer needs.
- Monitor sales performance in assigned region and ensure development of effective strategies to address shortfalls.
- Develop and manage relationships with key customers in the assigned region and maintain long-term relationships with strategic clients.
- Oversee the management of the region’s customer database to support sales initiatives.
- Provide support to Area Managers in resolution of escalated sales and/ or customer related issues.
- Coordinate with the marketing team and ensure implementation of promotional activities for the region.
- Evaluate market trends and gather competitive intelligence, identify trends that may affect current and future growth of regional sales and profitability.
- Conduct demand planning and forecasting to manage and ensure product availability for customers at all times.
- Develop and implement tactics and strategies for distributor loyalty.
- Oversee the preparation of annual budget for the assigned region and monitor its implementation.
- Manage customer complaints & escalate where necessary.
- Ensure yearly growth for assigned customers & ensure customer retention.
- Recruit new Customers.
Perform any other related duties as may assigned by Deputy of Head of Sales and Marketing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in sales, marketing, business administration or a related discipline.
- Minimum of three (3) years of work experience in sales & marketing
- Proficiency in Microsoft office suits/SAP applications.

Job Tittle: Export Sales Officer
Job Summary
Export Officer will be responsible for growing Export Market by creating Customers & Maintaining Customers. Essentially, it is about enhancing the sales of our products in other countries by ensuring that our products are made available in the international markets. Job Holder carries out Market Research & Analysis of the trends of the Markets and develop sales plans and strategies to meet & exceed Customers’ expectations consistently.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- To identify new business opportunities by tapping into the potential customers from different countries.
- To plan, design, develop and implement different sales activities by researching the customer’s needs and requirements.
- To make sure that the existing clients are retained and maintained while developing new customers.
- To ensure that all sales and marketing activities are carried out to support Customers & Volume Growth.
- To take initiative and make efforts to develop creative and effective solutions to any issues that may slow down or hamper export Sales.
- To constantly review distributor’s performances and monitor Sales, so that relevant information can be provided to Management.
- Coordinate closely with the logistics/shipping Company/agents for scheduling and booking shipments to ensure smooth and timely cargo delivery.
- Arrange details of shipments with forwarders, carriers, and agents as necessary for exports.
- Prepare freight invoices and receipt/vouchers for freight received.
- Track the status of all shipments and prepare a report of the same.
- Prepare and submit Monthly statistical reports on Dispatches Cont’d.
- Ensure all paperwork relating to shipments is kept up to date and filed regularly. This includes Exit Export Documents
- Perform any other duties as may assigned by Senior or Head of Sales.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce or Economics.
- Minimum of Three (3) year’s work experience in Exports, Sales & Marketing
- Work experience in the sales/marketing is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Power Point & SAP applications
- Excellent Communication skills in English, French & Swahili
- Exhibits ability to use PowerPoint.
- Speaks confidently and articulately in front of a Group.
- Demonstrate the ability to think both analytically and creatively.

Job Tittle: Payroll Officer
Job Summary
- Participate in/ provide support for the implementation of DCP Tanzania’s compensation strategy.
- Administer payroll and statutory (or other related) remittances for employees in DCP Tanzania.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with the Senior, Compensation & Benefits to define, formulate and implement competitive reward/compensation strategies, policies, and programs.
- Ensure effective implementation and administration of the Company’s compensation policies.
- Provide inputs/recommendations for the update of DCP Tanzania’s compensation policies and processes in order to reflect current realities.
- Ensure that administration of compensation for the organization is in compliance with prevailing tax laws and regulations.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of staff compensation details on the payroll system.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of staff salaries and benefits.
- Follow up with manpower providers to ensure prompt processing of contract staff salaries.
- Prepare and ensure timely processing and remittance of all payrolls related deductions e.g., PAYE, pension contributions, etc.
- Review/validate payroll-related invoices/schedules against relevant monthly payroll instructions.
- Prepare payroll impacting communication to all national employees (pay slips, salary reviews, etc.).
- Maintain and update the compensation database and provide ad hoc reports on compensation and benefits data, staff costs, etc.
- Provide ad-hoc reports on headcount reconciliation and compensation benefits data.
- Interpret performance appraisals scores and calculate the corresponding remuneration level.
- Assist with implementing relevant reward structures based on performance results.
- Conduct compensation surveys as required and compute corresponding remuneration.
- Provide support in terms of queries resolution on compensation related issues.
- Employees’ records keeping.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior or Head of Department.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in HR or a Social Sciences related discipline.
- Professional qualification in HR Management e.g., Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) will be an added advantage.
- At least 2 years’ experience in compensation and/ or payroll administration.
- Basic understanding of trends, challenges, opportunities, regulations, and legislations relating to the cement manufacturing industry.
- Good knowledge and understanding of remuneration methodologies, tax policies.
- Good knowledge and understanding of employee reward and incentive schemes, packages etc.
- Good data/numerical and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications especially MS Excel
