- Community Concern of Orphans and Development Association (COCODA) is a non-governmental organization created in 2000. As its name suggests, COCODA was founded as a result of growing concern among community members in Njombe regarding the rising number of orphans, primarily as a result of the rising number of people infected with HIV and dying from AIDS, the majority of whom were adults leaving behind young children without parents. This trend had adverse social and economic effects.development. In order to effectively address the problem, COCODA planned to educate the local community about HIV/AIDS, support orphans and the most vulnerable kids, give youngsters access to vocational training, and form small-scale income-generating groups for a sustainable local economy.
- Dedicated to achieving and sustaining HIV epidemic control, Meeting Targets and Maintaining Epidemic Control (EpiC) is a global effort supported by the U.S. President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). Its five-year performance term runs from April 15, 2019, to April 14, 2024, and is led by FHI 360 as premier.
- To overcome obstacles to 95-95-95 and enhance HIV case identification, prevention, and linkage to treatment among important and priority populations, EpiC offers strategic technical assistance (TA) and direct service delivery (PP). To address important gaps and bottlenecks in the response to HIV among key and vulnerable populations (KVP) and adolescent girls and young women, COCODA is implementing the project in the Njombe region through 5 councils (Njombe TC, Njombe DC, Makambako TC, Wanging'ombe DC, and Ludewa DC) (AGYW). In order to provide HIV and other services specifically suited to the requirements of these populations, the EpiC project closely collaborates with the Government of Tanzania (GoT) at both the national and sub-national levels.

1 Position, Deputy Project Manager
Project Manager, please report to
Specifies the position:
- The program personnel will be assisted in understanding the program description and necessary deliverables by the deputy project manager, who will also monitor program performance and provide recommendations on a project's strategic direction. Additionally, this role will engage closely with LGAs to ensure effective government cooperation.
- Participate in Comprehensive Council Health Plans (CCHP) meetings and make sure USAID EpiC initiatives are included in the relevant CCHP are your roles and responsibilities.

Position of Biomedical Technical Officer (BTO) 2
Location: 1 Mtwara Region and 1 Njombe Region
Accountable to: Program Manager
Specfies the position:
- The Biomedical Technical Officer (BTO) will be in charge of coordinating the provision of biomedical services to the designated council as part of the EPIC Project. To ensure the delivery of high quality biomedical services, such as HIVST, PrEP, HTS, Family planning, Screening and referral for STIs, Gender Based Violence, and TB, he or she will collaborate closely with the EpiC Central team, RHMT, and CHMT. Coordinating links and adherence support for clients in their designated council's HIV care and treatment
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Planning: Attending meetings of the Comprehensive Council Health Plans (CCHP) to ensure that EPIC activities are covered by each CCHP.
- Work together with Community Engagement Officers to map hotspots and create a council-wide registry of all hotspots where beneficiaries can be discovered.
- Review the list of index sources created by service providers on a weekly basis and make sure each one provides honest and secure index testing services.
- Coordinating and directing:
- He or she will be in charge of working with the DMO's office to find government medical service providers who will offer biomedical services at the community level, with the assistance of the project manager.
- Participate actively in the creation of monthly operation plans in close coordination with community engagement officers for targeted HTS outreaches to the identified hotspot regions and KVPs.
- Assist in setting up biomedical providers' training and orientation sessions so they may participate in the monthly operating schedules for the EPIC project, and keep track of the Service Providers on the list.
- STI & TB screening and treatment, family planning, GBV services, and other health-related services should be monitored and coordinated through community-based facilities.

Position: Case Management Officer I

Specifies the position:
- The HIV prevention program, which targets the region's at-risk population, will be implemented by the case manager in collaboration with a community technical officer and biomedical officers. He or she will collaborate with the team to reach, serve, and sustain the KVP. S/he will also oversee the case linkage implementation during the pre- and post-counselling processes, as well as the linkages of positive diagnosed KVP to care and treatment centers. will keep an eye on all community-related activities

Summary of the Position
- In order to implement an HIV prevention program that targets population at risk, vulnerable adolescent girls and young women, female sex workers (FSW), and men who have sex with men (MSM), COCODA Tanzania's Community Engagement Officer will collaborate with biomedical technical officers at regional levels and community in respective Councils. S/he will also monitor the implementation of the SBCC, structural, and gender activities in accordance with the overall regional work plan.
