JOB SUMMARY
- The Human Resources (HR) Coordinator is in charge of managing all aspects of HR administration in accordance with best practices and making sure that CARE Tanzania has an adequate number of highly motivated, productive employees. To ensure that all HR needs are satisfied, the job closely collaborates with managers (supervisors). The position's responsibilities will include leading HRMIS, Contract Management, Records Management, and Separation initiatives across the organization and mentoring other HR team members in these areas while closely collaborating with the Director of HR and Operations for advice and assistance. The role will be headquartered in Dar es Salaam and directly report to the Director of HR and Operations.
RELEVANT ACTIVITIES
- Ensure that CARE Tanzania has an adequate number of personnel that are both qualified and competent.
- Employee Development and Performance Evaluation
- Building the ability of partners' organizations to implement best practices in HR Management will assist Project Management Teams in launching an impactful portfolio of projects.
- coordination of talent management and development for CARE Tanzania employee capacity building
- Support the efficient application of the rewards management system used by CARE Tanzania.
- Coordinate and promote the mental and physical health of CARE Tanzania employees in order to foster the growth of a highly productive and motivated team.
- Maintain legal compliance at all times by managing all parts of HR administration and record keeping in accordance with best practices.
- Encourage gender equality
QUALIFICATIONS (KNOW-HOW)
- a Human Resources Management Bachelor's degree, or another professional membership in the Chartered
- Possession of a postgraduate degree in human resource management from the Institute of Personnel and Development or another certifying organization
- 5 years of experience in the field of human resources, preferably in the development industry (international or national organisation)
- knowledge of current best practices in talent management, recruitment, performance management, employee motivation, and employee engagement
- Excellent training and expertise in the implementation of Tanzanian labor legislation
- Understanding of best practices in adult learning, as well as theoretical and practical expertise in workplace learning facilitation and implementation
- Excellent report-writing, facilitation, and communication skills; native Kiswahili speaker; high English language proficiency.
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and planning skills, as well as the capacity to meet deadlines
