Summary

  • In accordance with Hyatt International's corporate strategies and brand standards, and while satisfying staff, guest, and owner expectations, you will be in charge of the department's efficient operation.
  • To ensure that all of the outlets run successfully and in accordance with the hotel's standards, the Food and Beverage Manager must also serve as the department's business manager and marketing specialist.

SIMPLE FUNCTION:

  • Attend weekly department head and coordination meetings. Inform the team under his or her guidance about scheduled events. Share firm policies and procedures with the staff that you are in charge of.
  • Inform other departments, clients, and potential clients about the department's capabilities and programs.
  • Attend to the wants and needs of visitors and prospective visitors.
  • Make sure that standards for food, drink, and service are met and maintained at a level appropriate for a top-notch convention center.
  • Implement efficient labor, food, and beverage cost controls.
  • Create efficient inventory, receiving, and product utilization systems (product cost).
  • Establish productivity guidelines for the food and beverage staff.
  • accountable for putting the company-wide system into place.
  • Create special event and cycle meals that are enticing, high quality, and marketable.
  • To inspire devoted and loyal employees, provide a cozy environment.
  • oversee the recruitment of and training for food and beverage staff.
  • Employee development for management.
  • oversee the department's weekly payroll.
  • In charge of taking corrective action in response to subpar performance.

Qualifications

  • either a bachelor's degree or relevant experience
  • Five years' minimum of experience in the hospitality sector
  • understanding of micros.
  • a capacity for fast decision-making under pressure.
  • Positive and pleasant personality
  • excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • a capacity for pressure-free work.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent computer abilities, including data entry, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, are essential.
  • willing to take risks and be enterprising.
  • the capacity to manage several active projects in a high-pressure team setting.
  • both the ability to work independently on projects and to operate effectively in a team.
  • Excellent detail-oriented, adaptable, and changeable.
