The maintenance and expansion of Tanzania's trunk and regional road networks is under the purview of the Tanzania National Roads Agency (TANROADS). In addition, it is in charge of employing weighbridges to undertake axle load control operations.
The Regional Manager's Office of TANROADS Mwanza, acting on behalf of the Chief Executive, is looking to hire qualified and competent Tanzanian citizens to fill openings at its Usagara Weighing Station and Regional Office as a way to improve the organization's capacity to carry out its functions effectively.
Tanzanians who meet the requirements and possess the necessary skills are encouraged to apply to fill the numerous openings in the area on a contract basis (Renewable subject to satisfactory performance)

Contract terms for appointments shall be three (3) years, renewable pending satisfactory performance, efficacy, and efficiency.

POSITION RELATIONSHIP: Reports to Incharge of Accounts and Administration
THE DUTY AND THE RESPONSIBILITY
- Install personal computers, biometric attendance systems, and accessories:
- assist with computer and audio/visual equipment upkeep and repair;
- Make sure the computers are functioning properly in the offices.
- support customers who utilize computers:
- execute a list of routine technical duties;
- To offer PC, BAS, and associated peripheral equipment technical assistance;
- helping to test new or upgraded machinery and systems;
- to communicate the implementation process, challenges, and solutions to the supervisor;
- Keep copies of software and computer system documentation;
- help the ICT officers at the TANROADS headquarters locate sources of information and fixes for issues they have detected;
- archival work for government papers;
- help the TANROADS Headquarters' programmers test new or updated application programs;
- Help TANROADS Headquarters programmers with issues involving data entry;
- upkeep of disk storage, tape libraries, and data processing systems;
- Check the console for errors and look at the elements of the operation for signs of improper functioning;
- Carry out any additional tasks that the supervisor may designate.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
- Must be a citizen of Tanzania
- possessing a Full Technician Certificate (FTC) or Ordinary Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or in a related field from a reputable university.
- fluent in both English and Kiswahili
Salary: According to the TANROADS Scale.
GENERAL CONDITIONS

A candidate who has been dismissed from the public service, regardless of the cause, shouldn't apply;
A candidate should list three credible referees along with their contacts;
The National Examination Council of Tanzania (NECTA) should certify diplomas for Ordinary or Advanced level education issued by foreign examination organisations;
The Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU) and National Council for Technical Education (NACTE) should verify professional diplomas from overseas universities and other training institutions;
It is advisable for an applicant with special needs or a case (disability) to mention;
On the day of the interview, only those who have been shortlisted will be notified, and;
Legal action will be required if fake certificates and other documents are presented;
