The Maintenance Manager, who answers to the Zonal Manager, is responsible for managing all Fabec facility maintenance and services for all company vehicles, buildings, and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Control the day-to-day activities of the maintenance department and make sure that it complies with business policies, safety regulations, and industry standards for corrective and preventative maintenance practices.
- completeness of the preventative maintenance programs
- ensuring that the maintenance team adheres to ethical standards when troubleshooting, acquiring supplies, and fixing components
- creation of practical maintenance schedules and strategies that adhere to client and company standards
- budget management for maintenance
- ensuring that everyone who operates corporate equipment does so safely
- Participate fully in hiring, training, and managing the entire maintenance team, as well as conducting monthly performance reviews. Monthly feedback should be given to the HR Manager.
- creates and oversees the budgets and business plans for the department.
- analyze, identify, and make recommendations for fixing issues with company and customer equipment, including the fleets of Crushers and ADT.
- Establish, put into practice, train for, and oversee the maintenance standards for the maintenance staff, including preventative maintenance and workplace safety.
- Conduct technician work quality audits, then share the results.
- Attends client maintenance meetings and offers emergency on-call help.
- Identify any equipment or systems that could have modifications in order to increase output and efficiency.
- By teaching staff members about safety expectations, standards, and the proper use of equipment, you can foster a culture of safety.
- Inform the leadership team of any safety compliance issues and necessary precautions.
- Verify that the working environment complies with company, client, and legal standards by inspecting the working conditions.
- To ensure safe facility operations, work together with the safety manager or the maintenance planner.
- Make a record of each maintenance procedure.
- Investigate every occurrence involving maintenance and provide the business with appropriate advise.
- Control all maintenance tasks performed by Fabec Subcontractors.
- As required by the site, prepare and submit various reports.
- any more related tasks that the management of the organization assigns
Requirements
- mechanical or industrial engineering bachelor's degree from a respected university
- a mastery of English
- Five years or more of experience in industrial or mining maintenance, including five years in leadership or management positions, in a significant construction, mining, or industrial industry
- knowledge in managing/supervising auto-electrical work, welding, and facility maintenance
- powerful diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
- understanding of motors and motor-control techniques.
- maintenance of light vehicles with a track record
- understanding of conveyor belt systems
- knowledge in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting methods.
- demonstrated expertise in maintaining crushers, specifying the type of crusher
- CAT graders, CAT rollers, CAT ADT, and other CAT equipment maintenance experience that has been proven.
- shown expertise with BELL equipment, particularly BELL ADT, etc.
- being able to use various software programs to troubleshoot various types of equipment, plants, and vehicles
