- About PASS Leasing Company Limited The Private Agricultural Sector Support (PASS) Trust was founded as a project in 2000 with the goal of promoting investments and growth in Tanzania's private sector commercial agriculture and allied sectors by facilitating access to financing. It was According to Tanzania's Trustees' Incorporation Act, the organization was registered in 2007 as a stand-alone non-profit entity. The governments of Denmark and the United Republic of Tanzania jointly founded PASS.
- PASS Trust has created a completely owned subsidiary to help further the financing and expansion of the agriculture industry.
- PASS Leasing Firm Limited is a wholly owned company. The Bank of Tanzania has granted this new company a temporary/provisional license (BOT). The goal of PASS Leasing Company is to assist agricultural producers in realizing their full potential for productivity by providing competitively priced lease finance without subjecting clients to standard collateral restrictions. In order to spur additional investment in asset-based financing, the Company wants to show that there is a tremendous market potential in asset-based financing to entice other financial and leasing service providers in the market to invest in agriculture.
