- Job DescriptionOur Zanzibar office is in need of a procurement officer.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Obtain purchase orders from the warehouse and purchase from authorized vendors.
- Choose and assess qualified vendors.
- Establish and keep current supplier data on the system.
- Create and preserve an effective working relationship with the provider.
- Conduct the complete procurement process, including the evaluation and selection of suppliers and products.
- Set up supplier ordering, receiving, and resolving complaints systems,
- At suvacor, serve as the supplier's first point of contact.
- Verify that purchase invoices adhere to suvacor's specifications.
- Make that all supplier-related documentation, including purchase invoices, is completed in accordance with suvacor's standards.
- any additional tasks that be assigned based on business demands.
- Order inconsistencies should be reconciled or resolved with suppliers.
- Control and keep track of spending in relation to approved budgets
- Management, optimization, and negotiation of payment terms
- Keep track of delivery schedules to guarantee promptness
- Keep up solid contacts with suppliers and routinely renegotiate costs.
- producing fact-based, succinct reports using digital devices
EDUCATION: Procurement and logistics bachelor's degree.
- Experience in purchasing of at least four years (Food & Beverage and Hospitality industry preferred).
