role objective

• This role will organize, coordinate with public agencies to carry out, and manage
• activities involved in the manufacture of commercial seeds, such as maize. This
• support with any field testing that may be conducted in the region of
• operations. to create and deliver high-quality seed in the appropriate quantities and qualities
• for purchase Additionally, this role will be in charge of developing and commercializing other
• goods used in agriculture, such as fertilizer and agrochemicals.

Important duties and obligations

• Control new seed approval using Tosci
• Organize seed production with producers in the public and private sectors.
• out-growers.
• Plan and oversee the supply chain for goods
• Maintain close communication with distributors and the seeds supply chain.
• the creation and administration of all new items from vendors
• Daily updates on the status of the production
• oversees field activities like planting, detasseling, grower contracts, and field
• mapping, harvesting, inspections, etc.
• finds and implements product innovations to satisfy the needs of farmers

Experience, aptitude, and credentials

• a bachelor's degree in seed technology, agriculture, engineering, or
• connected subject.
• a minimum of five years of experience in a related field
• Having knowledge of managing, registering, and producing seeds, or
• Seed.
• fluent in both Swahili and English.
