Responsible for carrying out sonographic examinations in accordance with procedures, security precautions, and standards of hygiene and privacy in order to improve patients' health conditions.
WORK REQUIREMENTS
- responsible for doing ultrasound examinations of various body areas for diagnostic purposes, keeping the ultrasound room in accordance with industry standards, and operating and maintaining an ultrasound equipment.
- Patients should be prepared for imaging by having the processes explained to them, accumulating their medical history, and maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.
- Make sure that hygienic standards are followed when maintaining equipment, cleaning ultrasonic attachments, and ensuring correct waste disposal.
- Responsible for quality control by conducting an internal audit of one's own practice, checking that ultrasound accessories are in excellent working order, and placing the required requests for repairs.
- Make requisitions for supplies and conduct routine stock inventories to ensure that all materials are stored in accordance with each distinct condition.
- By using biomedical equipment in accordance with the user manual and protocols, performing cleaning and minor maintenance, and conducting routine quality assurance checks, you can ensure that it is in good working order. You can also alert the supervisor in case of malfunctioning, damage/loss/robbery of ultrasound room material and devices.
- Make sure that medical procedures are carried out with the greatest standards of morality and decency in accordance with the MTI Code of Conduct.
- Make sure the information gathered is accurate, and submit reports on time.
- By fostering an atmosphere of awareness and maintaining the Medical Teams' code of conduct rules, support the safety of program participants and staff. Protection from child and vulnerable adult abuse, sexual exploitation, and policies that prevent workplace harassment.

LICTENSES, CERTIFICATES, & EDUCATION
- a diagnostic radiography diploma from a reputable university or college.
- The Medical Radiology & Imaging Professionals Council must have registered them.
- A current practicing license is necessary.
EXPERIENCE
- Ultrasound diagnostic experience of at least two years is necessary.
- An advantage is having previous experience working with international NGOs.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES
KNOWLEDGE
- understanding of the ideas and ideals of sonography
- knowledge of IPC protocol and hygiene management
SKILLS
- capable of both performing and interpreting ultrasounds
- outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities
- a strong grasp of spoken and written English
ABILITIES
- the capacity to respect the privacy and security of patient information and to uphold professional ethics
- ability to appreciate and act impartially toward all patients and employees
- the capacity to deliver high-quality, moral, and caring treatment that prioritizes the needs of the patient

HYPOTHETIC CONDITIONS
- Working in hospitals in rural locations with very basic living conditions is a requirement of this employment.
