Senior Manager of Internal Communications for the Global Workforce

Department: Talent and People

Location: Far-off

  • In order to strategically implement inclusive systemic best practices that support important elements of our global work community work, including but not limited to inclusion, internal communications, and connection, we are looking for an experienced internal communications professional to join our team.

responsibilities and obligations:

  • Make a plan and strategy for global internal communications.
  • Relationships of Note: Reports to the Senior Director, International Work Community
  • Type of Assignment: Full-Time

Compensation:

  • Work together with all Americares sites and departments to make sure that critical messages, changes, and organization initiatives are effectively conveyed to and with workers.
  • Lead accessibility in internal communications within the organization
  • Work with CEO and Chief People Officer to draft and revise organizational wide communications
  • Create and hone an internal voice that supports and grows on an intentional organizational culture and global work community under the direction of the Chief People Officer and Senior Director, Global Work Community.
  • Inform and educate top executives and people managers on important change communication and internal communications best practices.
  • Organize inclusive, enlightening, engaging, and global staff gatherings.
  • Give internal communications material, editing, training, and support that is inclusive and anti-bias.
  • Integrate methods enabling workers to communicate about milestones, appreciation, and recognition.
  • Create and improve processes for staff feedback that are efficient and inclusive.
  • Align strategy and communication by working closely with the external communications team and consultants.
  • During all meetings and presentations, conduct research, organize, and put accessibility (languages and disability) options into practice.
  • Set up staff resources and language classes.
  • Work together to achieve the organization's people strategic goals with the other members of the Global Work Community team and the larger People and Talent Team.

Key prerequisites and skills:

  • Experience executing inclusive and successful global internal communications strategies for at least five years
  • fluent in at least two of the primary languages used by our Americares personnel (English, Spanish, Tagalog, Hindi, Kiswahili, Haitian Creole)
