Major Responsibilities

• establishing/maintaining a safe workplace and ensuring that all packaging-related equipment is used in accordance with the necessary environmental, health, and safety standards providing Diageo specifications-compliant goods to internal and external consumers
• preserving a high standard of cleanliness for all packaging equipment and the environment around it
• Planning and managing the manufacturing area to ensure timely and complete deliveries according to the agreed-upon timetable
• lowering waste in the process to achieve or beat cost goals.
• Employee development and coaching in my area of responsibility.
• introducing operational best practices actively to establish continuous improvement as a way of life.
• active involvement in personal development activities as a people-leader.
• Ensure proper RCPS implementation through leadership and role modeling. Raise 5 whys as determined by predetermined trigger points and take the lead during shift situational problem solving.
• Totally responsible for directing and planning the shift's asset care agenda

Required Education and Experience:

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Production Management
• Highly preferred is a diploma in engineering, food science, chemistry, or biochemistry.
• Packaging and/or Brewing Experience IBD Diploma
