  • Comprehensive Community Based Rehabilitation in Tanzania (CCBRT) aims to be the top supplier of affordable, specialized healthcare services in Africa. It does this by acting as a healthcare social enterprise, implementing community development initiatives, and serving the most vulnerable members of society. With the launch of its new Maternity and Newborn Wing, CCBRT, which is dedicated to preventing permanent disabilities whenever possible, is now expanding its maternity, pediatric, and child health initiatives.
  • The goal of CCBRT is to bolster its Human Resource staff by adding a Payroll Administrator in support of all hospital services.

The roles

  • To ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions, including salaries, benefits, statutory payments, and other deductions, the Payroll Administrator implements, maintains, and reviews payroll processing and accounting systems.
  • The administrator is active; she creates and maintains correct payroll transaction records and reports. Obtains invoices and works with the Accounting teams to ensure prompt payments; facilitates timely reporting, financial analysis, and monthly payroll opening and closing; ensures compliance with applicable tax and labor laws and industry best practices; and facilitates audits by giving auditors access to records and supporting documentation.
  • The payroll administrator assists the HR team with various financial-related issues and is a full member of the group.

The applicant

  • requires a bachelor's degree in business administration or commerce with a specialization in human resources.
  • Experience in the field ranging from three to five years is necessary.
  • Tanzanian registration for NBAA (added advantage)
  • possesses in-depth knowledge of all aspects of payroll processing, such as preparation, balance, internal control, and payroll taxes.
  • Has expertise using payroll software (experience with ARUTI is an added advantage)
  • possesses in-depth knowledge of all aspects of payroll processing, such as preparation, balance, internal control, and payroll taxes.
  • Excellent organizing abilities and attention to detail are displayed.
  • possesses excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • competent with the Microsoft Office Suite or comparable programs.
