Career Summary
- Understanding the larger strategy and translating it into operational goals will help you identify and generate "new to bank" income by driving trade finance income agenda directly or through the Coverage teams.
Principal duties:
- responsible for the transactions, services, and resulting income of Trade Finance (on and off-balance sheet) clients.
- Ensure recurring limit utilizations for the current clients and organic trade income development across the trade finance portfolio.
- Visit clients and branches frequently to address inquiries from the public and promote trade.
- By providing excellent customer service and being aware of any service difficulties, you may keep your current clientele.
- Organize and coordinate meetings with influential figures in the management of potential clients.
- assist in gathering the information needed to evaluate funding applications.
- Ensure that the necessary documentation has been completed by following up with potential customers.
- Work closely with Trade Finance Operations to handle transactions quickly and effectively, ensuring improved customer experience by reducing disputes and complaints.
- During the assessment and due diligence process, communicate with the credit team and business analysts and offer assistance as needed.
- Customers should be followed up with on a regular basis to examine current trade finance facilities and talk about the need for extension or additional facilities.
- Work along with various different departments and/or units, such as To guarantee that clients receive top-notch services or solutions, use Treasury, business banking, etc.;
- Make sure all trade finance activities adhere to internal and external norms.
- Facilitate and advise product managers during training; also, act as a powerful facilitator for relationships.
- Managers and branches should encourage product adoption and use.
- Analyze which clients still have room in their limits and the causes of lower use to track Trade Finance allowed limits utilization on a daily basis.
- Manage the Corporate portfolio to produce robust growth and good, sustained returns in order to carry out the financial plan.
- Increase revenue from public sector, corporate, institutional, and agricultural clients through trade finance
Requirements for Experience, Knowledge, and Skills
- A credible university's bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a similar discipline.
- 5 years or more of expertise in trade finance in the banking industry.
- trade product expertise.
- Good market knowledge and exposure in trade finance.
